A gorgeous island just south of Sicily, Malta has another reason for car fanatics to visit, the Valletta Concours d’Elegance. The capitol city of Malta, Valletta is a tremendous place to host a Concours – the scenery is spectacular, the architecture is absolutely unreal, and the weather is pure Mediterranean. Held in June at St. George’s Square, a multitude of cars converge to the delight of onlookers and the scrutiny of the judges. This year, Chris Cachia’s 1961 Jaguar E-Type Roadster took the Best of Show Award, a tough award to achieve, thanks to the multitude of competition ranging from all nations, genres, and years.
